About Me
I have lived my entire life with autoimmune disorders. It started when I was just a baby and has never stopped. Every day is a battle—one that never truly ends.
Pain is constant. It has become my normal, the only thing I know. Even on medications like prednisone, the relief is temporary and comes with its own set of side effects. I’ve seen countless doctors—some try their best, but many send me home with no answers. “Everything looks good, keep doing what you’re doing,” they say. But that doesn’t reflect what I truly feel.
Some days, just breathing hurts. Yesterday, I struggled to take a small breath, unable to lay down, desperate for sleep but in too much pain to rest. My knees, hips, shoulders, and hands throb, and no over-the-counter pain reliever even touches it. I know this fight all too well.
Why I Keep Fighting
I am a silent fighter. Only my close family knows the extent of my struggles. Every day, I go to work and do my best to hide it. My job is physically demanding—one that even the healthiest and strongest might avoid. Yet, I push forward.
But my greatest reason to fight? My daughter. She is my world. She is my why. Without her, giving up might seem like the easier choice. If you’re struggling, I encourage you to find your why—the thing that keeps you moving forward even when the pain feels unbearable.
Why I Created This Blog
This blog is a support space for anyone battling autoimmune disease, chronic pain, and inflammation. It’s a place to share experiences, resources, and encouragement. But most importantly, it’s a reminder that you are not alone in this fight.
🔹 Please note: This blog does not provide medical advice. I am not a medical professional. I am simply sharing my journey in hopes that it helps others feel seen, understood, and supported.
If you’re here, it means you’re fighting too. Let’s face this battle together—one step, one flare, and one victory at a time.
